Apple informs that it will start building its new manufacturing plant in Arizona which will ultimately employ thousands of people

According to Apple Balla, the tech giant has announced that it will build a new manufacturing plant in Mesa, Arizona, very soon, which is expected to create more than 2,000 employment opportunities. Apple has also informed that the renewable energy sources will be used to run the new plant.

“We are proud to expand our domestic manufacturing initiative with a new plant in Arizona, creating more than 2,000 jobs in engineering, manufacturing and construction,” said an Apple spokeswoman called Kristin Huguet. “This new plant will make components for Apple products and it will run on 100% renewable energy from day one, as a result of the work, we are doing with SRP to create green energy sources to power the facility.”

Jan Brewer, the governor of Arizona, is very happy to get the new Apple plant in his region. He said, “Apple is indisputably one of the world’s most innovative companies and I’m thrilled to welcome them to Arizona.” He added, “Their investment in renewable energy will also be greening out power grid, and creating significant new solar and geothermal power sources for the state.”

Though Apple hasn’t informed about the products that are going to be manufactured in the plant, the production of the new Macs is strongly rumored to take place, based on the last year’s statement of Tim Cook.
