Some new revelations have been unearthed about Google’s mystery barge artistic design. This strange vessel in San Francisco Bay is just the beginning of a futuristic seafaring ship.

The Google mystery barge is only a prototype. Google has much bigger plans for its vessel stationed in the port of San Francisco. It is to have sails like fish fins and be able to support over a thousand people at a time. While it appears rather drab at present, in the future it is supposed to look like a work of art. The 50 foot high and 250 foot long structure will have many additions made to it. It will stick out of the otherwise nondescript Bay like a gemstone in a box.

The barge is to be a 'studio' or a space for exclusive product exhibitions by Google. Besides raising its popularity rating it will be used to entertain VIP visitors. But Google kept its name secret. And the company behind barge says that the barge’s exhibit space will be for “local organizations to engage with guests and gain visibility in a unique way.”

The company in charge of the barge is By and Large. who is actually By and Large? There have been rumors of this being a word play of sorts on “barge”. Does not know about this firm before. But it is reported to be in strong connection with Google. Google is building up the suspense on purpose.

By and Large LLC says that the goal of this barge is to “drive visitation to the waterfront.” It also said, “We envisioned this space with community in mind, a surprising environment that is accessible to all and inspires conversation about how everything is connected — shorebirds, me, you, the sea, the fog and much more,” according to SFGate.

It is secretive about any further revelations. The platform will be a bastion for people interested in high technology. The security arrangements are so tight that not a single item can be stolen from the vessel. That was a necessary step since the thousand odd people that would be aboard the barge won’t all be angels. Google has always gone for the moon shot. It thinks big and has even recently tried its hand at conquering death through Calico (California Life Company). You can’t beat such ambitious plans!
