Xolo launched the powerful Q2000 phablet

After giving an exclusive early sneak peek yesterday at the Q2000, Xolo Inc. has now launched their new phablet for just Rs 14,999 in the Indian market. It is the largest device yet in the new company’s smart phone portfolio and the specifications are not half bad for that price.

The dual-SIM supported Q2000 model sports a sleek design and 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a superb resolution of 1280x720 pixels and with a pixel density of 267ppi. The phone gets powered by a quad-core MT6589M-W processor with 1.2GHz speed, coupled with a 1GB of RAM, and also a 357MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU. This new smart phone runs on Android Jelly Bean OS.

The Q2000 model comes with 8GB internal memory and that can get expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. This handset measure 156x77.8x9.8mm and it weighs in at 180g. A 2600mAh battery is supported to power up the phone, which might sound ample considering this specification.

And when it is about photography, there’s a 13-megapixel primary camera with a brilliant BSI 2 sensor with the features like auto focus and flash support also. A smart 2-megapixel secondary camera is added in the set also. The primary camera comes with image stabilization feature, low light enhancement, and easily vertical and horizontal Panorama capture ability. This phone packs in most of the usual suspects like an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor with a proximity sensor. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth v2.0, WiFi support, GPS facility and A-GPS support. The phone’s micro USB port supports USB on-the-go for faster access to data.

Xolo Inc. is also throwing in a free flip cover and also a USB OTG cable with every phone for now. Previously, Xolo had mentioned about TDD-LTE in their official specifications yesterday, but that was just an error. HSPA+ for 3G usage is the maximum cellular speed on the Q2000 model.
