C Spire Launches iPad Air, iPad Mini Retina Coming Soon

Regional wireless carrier C Spire has announced that it is now offering the iPad Air on its 4G LTE network. The carrier also announced it would be offering the iPad mini with retina display featuring 4G LTE connectivity as well.

C Spire says that customers will be able to add the iPad Air tablet to shared data plan for $10 per month. The company also offers data plans for tablet starting at five dollars a month for 100 MB of data. The iPad Air with LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi be available E Spire retail stores.

There is no indication of exactly when the iPad mini with retina display will launch. “Tablets continue to grow in popularity as consumers find tremendous value and utility for these devices,” said Jim Richmond, vice president of Corporate Communications for C Spire, noting that tablet ownership among U.S. adults has doubled in the last year to 34 percent. “C Spire customers will be able to experience all the iPad has to offer on our fast and reliable 4G LTE network.”
