The new gold iPhone 5S is a big seller. Now the shipping times come down for the first time making it easier to get a Gold iPhone.

Gold iPhone 5S Turned out to Be Big Hit

Consumers wanted a Gold iPhone all along. Third parties have provided the service in the past with golden paint or real gold treatment. Now Apple has added the gold color to the iPhone 5S options. The Gold iPhone has turned out to be the hardest to get of all three iPhone 5S colors.

Now Forbes reports that lead times for all iPhone 5S have improved earlier this week from 2-3 weeks to 1-2 weeks. This is true for Apple stores around the globe with some exceptions.

You might want to still hold off on ordering the iPhone 5S. The Walmart Black Friday 2013 ad features an awesome iPhone 5S deal. You get a free $75 gift card with the purchase of an iPhone 5S priced at$189 with contract. And yes the Gold iPhone 5S is part of the deal.

You can see the iPhone 5S Black Friday deal on this page of the Walmart Black Friday 2013 Ad.

We will never know how many gold iPhone Apple will have sold as Apple will never breakout the numbers for each color on earnings calls.

This year Black Friday is rather late falling on November 29th, 2013. Last year, Black Friday was on November 23rd. Retailers will have four full weeks to please you with special Black Friday 2013 sales until the culmination of the actual Black Friday and the encore on Cyber Monday 2013 (December 2nd).

The first Black Friday 2013 Ads have already been leaked or published. See the list of 2013 Black Friday Ads available so far.

According to Black Friday Countdown there are 15 days until Black Friday 2013. We will again provide full analysis and guidance of Black Friday Ads and Deals in our Black Friday Hub.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
