The Camera Awesome application originally launched for the iPhone back in the year 2012 and now, it’s available for the iPad also. And well, this famous app has now arrived to the Android platform.

This application is now available in the Google Play Store as of today and its developer SmugMug has got it priced at $2.99. But there is a limitation here, because Camera Awesome will only work on these following devices: Nexus 7, Nexus 4 and Nexus 10, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S 4, Sony Xperia Z, Moto X, HTC One, and Motorola DROID RAZR.

A notably missing from that group of Google Nexus devices is the newest device on the block, the Nexus 5. As a comment, SmugMug has said that it is “coming soon” for the Nexus 5 device, but they have not offered anything further. In addition to this, there was a mention of the application arriving “soon” in the Amazon Appstore with the support for the Kindle Fire HDX 7 device and their Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.

Camera Awesome has some awesome features that should be expected, and some more extra features that make it stand above from some of the other applications. There are various shooting modes including the high-speed burst, HDR mood, and swift panorama and the application also has a composition guide which will help to line up with their “rule-of-thirds” and more about the app. There is also the face recognition feature and a tracking feature as well as the ability to automatically adjust the ISO settings, white doing balance and exposure.

The Camera Awesome app also allows the user to adjust and then shoot images and video in some multiple resolutions. Camera Awesome has also got an anti-shake mode for recording the videos. And once an image has been captured, there are still the editing and sharing options. The app users will be able to rotate, crop and apply effects; and then they can use the “Awesomize” button to make it perfect!
