OfficeMax offers great Black Friday deals on office furniture and computers, not so great on tablets

Office Max, one of the leading retailers of paper, office supplies, furniture and electronics, started the Black Friday sale for the first time last year, and is extending the number of discounted items this year. The OfficeMax Black Fridaydoor busterstarts on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day at 8 pm and continues on Friday and Saturday, while the supplies last. See the OfficeMax Black Friday 2013 Ad for details.

Black Friday is rather late this year falling on November 29th, 2013. Black Friday was on November 23rd in last year. This year retailers have four full weeks to bombard you with special Black Friday 2013 sales until the culmination of the actual Black Friday 2013 and the encore on Cyber Monday 2013 (December 2nd).

Some customers complain that the OfficeMax Black Friday sale last year offered better deals. For example, the iTunes card was 30 percents off last year and only 17.5 percent this year.

All office furniture is 30 percent off, both online and in stores.

For those who are looking for great deals on computers, $150 off for the HP Pavilion Laptop with 17" monitor, 4GB RAM, AMD Elite Quad-Core, Windows 8 and 750 HD (17-e024nr is worth checking out.

Another great deal is Toshiba S55-A5376 Notebook PC, with Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor, 8GB DDR3 SDRAM , 1TB 5400RPM hard drive , 15.6" HD TruBrite Display. Besides $100 instant discount, the customer also gets $50 in the prepaid Visa and special deal on McFee and Office. With all the deals, the price is $599, $180 off the regular price.

The savings on software are between 20 and 40 percents.

The best deal on tablets is for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1" White- $40 off. Kindle Fire and Gogle Nexus offer only $10 discount.

All items in the OfficeMax Black Friday ad are offered at the discounted price in the stores and online, unless it is specified otherwise in the particular ad.
