Soundrop has just launched its social music discovery app on Deezer for both the web and mobile platforms. Soundrop is actually a great place for all music lovers to personally connect with their favorite artists. And Deezer is a popular streaming music provider that will now allow its users to join thousands of social listening rooms via its on-demand streaming service. Deezer users can discover fresh music and chat with their favorite artists. They may contact other fans too.
Deezer founder, Daniel Marhely said, “Joining a thriving Soundrop room is one of the most unique ways to enjoy music, which is why we're excited to welcome Soundrop to our growing list of app partners. Our goal is to help cutting-edge music services instantly tap into a global audience of music fans - ultimately helping artists reach potential fans everywhere. By allowing artists to join these rooms, Soundrop creates the kind of music experiences you’ll never forget - which is exactly the kind of thing we want for our users.”
Soundrop on Deezer has almost similar integration facilities like Spotify and Facebook possess. Deezer users can enter into any Soundrop room based on specific artist or genre. They can add a new track, vote for the track they want to hear next and can also upvote the tracks of other listeners. While doing all this, they can simultaneously do real-time chatting with other listeners. It gives them an opportunity to discuss their picks with other like-minded listeners from all over the world.
Soundrop CEO, Jørn Haanæs said, “From all of us at Soundrop, welcome to all Deezer subscribers. We’re excited to have you join our growing social music service. Whether you want to sit back and listen to what each room has to offer, or whether you want to dive in and be an active participant, we’ve got you covered. Come on in, and have a wonderful visit.”
Soundrop has added almost 200 artists since January. These maestros will meet and interact with their fans. These include Enrique Iglesias, Imagine Dragons, Robin Thicke, Owl City and Zedd and many more. Soundrop events have also radically boosted the number of licensed streams an artist can generate.
