Imagine a day when you can simply fold your smartphone in your pockets without thinking much of how long or wide the screen is. Now, it seems that the idea is only away by one year at the best as Kwon Oh Hyun, the CEO of Samsung Electronics, announced on the company’s Analyst day that they expect to come up with the world’s first fully foldable display smartphones in year 2015.

If the technology ever comes into reality, it can be used in not only smatphones but into any types of wearable devices as in Galaxy Gear.

Pioneering in innovation, Samsung is no doubt giving its hundred percent efforts to take the tech world by storm. Already out in the market with the first curved display smartphone, Galaxy Round, commercially to be available from 2014; there is no doubt that Samsung is already much ahead in devising a foldable device as shown in a presentation slide from the event.

First to be available in South Korea, the 5.7 inch horizontally curved display smartphone is a device designed for better grip, lesser weight, and a surrounding view is currently assumed to be the future of a much flexible device in future.
