All this is because CODE Fluidics has developed a MicroFluid technology that can produce changing-color effects on your phone case, so that you can completely forget about only an gold Apple or a few color choices of 5/5c/5s etc.
Interestingly, CODE Fluidics is not going into mass production right now with the amazing technology; rather it has launched a kickstarter program on October 24 with an aim to bag $55,000 from backers of this project. However the last date of this fund raising program is November 23, 2013 and so far $4,140 have already been pledged by 57 backers.
Now regarding the technical details, the technology specifically forces tiny amounts of fluid through some translucent channels in the back of the case that makes the case to turn into bold red, chocolate colored, or neon orange, anytime and anywhere.
The cases will be flexible and strong with a plastic or polycarbonate exterior complete with hard bumper frame and tiny holes on the case. These will not only make the case strong enough to protect your smatphone from damage but at the same time, will also allow the user to connect a fluid container of favorite color and inject the case with amazing new colors.
So now it’s all on the funding project, as the CODE Fluidics already has a timeline of producing 300,000 to 400,000 units within March 2014. Starting particularly for iPhone, in no time we can expect to color our iPhones in Do-It-Yourself style.
