No Cyber Monday iPad Deals in Sight

Dec 1 2013, 2:42pm CST | by , in News | Cyber Monday

If you have waited out Black Friday to see if you get a better iPad deal on Cyber Monday, you might have lost out big time. There is no iPad deal in sight and only one is announced and that one is not exciting.

No Cyber Monday iPad Deals in Sight

We saw unprecedented Black Friday iPad deals. Even on the new iPaid Air. The overall savings on the best iPad Air deal including gift card was $120! The iPad mini and the iPad 2 sold with $100 discounts. Even the Apple Store Black Friday had decent iPad deals with up to $75 gift card bundles. Now almost all Cyber Monday 2013 sales have launched and the retailers sites have basically no iPads in stock. The only announced Cyber Monday iPad deals is from Walmart.

Walmart sells a 32GB iPad with Retina Display for $449 w/ free accessories. This is not such a great deal as you can get a new iPad Air for just $50 more. Sure, you get only 16GB storage for $499, but more than 16GB is not necessary for most users. It is though more important to have a lighter, thinner and faster tablet. And the iPad Air is a big improvement over the iPad with Retina Display.

No other major retailer has announced or is offering iPad deals. You even have a hard time to find Wi-Fi models in stock. Apple also has shipping deals on most iPad models on the Apple Store.

Unless a miracle happens in the next hours, there will be no Cyber Monday iPad deals this year. MacMall has very, very modest discounts on the iPad in their Cyber Monday sale that are almost not worth mentioning. The iPad Air is $20 off and the iPad mini is $9 off.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
