Walmart Extends 1-Hour Guarantee Card Registration Deadline

The popular Walmart 1-Hour Guarantee Doorbusters attracted 1 million customers according to Walmart. If you did not get the physical product in the 1-Hour Guarantee doorbuster sales you need to register your gift card online. After registration  online you will get the item delivered to the store and ready to pick up in time for Christmas. Important. You need to complete registration by 11:59 pm CST on Sunday, December 1, 2013.

Apparently quite some customers have issues getting their guarantee cards registered. Walmart just reacted and tweeted an extension of the registration deadline which was set for today. Read the tweet below. See also the instructions how to get your 1-hour guarantee card registered.

How to Register your 1-Hour Guarantee Card:

Visit the 1-Hour Guarantee Registration Page on Walmart.com and enter the access code you find on your receipt (image) you got when you bought the 1-Hour Guarantee deal.

Then at check out you need to enter your Gift Card number. On the side with the 1-Hour In Stock Guarantee logo, you'll see a strip under Step 2 with wavy black and gray lines. Scratch the security covering off that strip with the edge of a coin or a fingernail and you will reveal your gift card and PIN. Enter these two numbers on the website to pay for your item.

Last year Walmart introduced for the first time Black Friday doorbuster deals that you could get for sure, if you are there in time. The Walmart One-Hour Guarantee makes it easy to score hot Black Friday doorbuster deals. I am still amazed that other retailers are not offering these guaranteed to get Black Friday deals.

Obviously it is great for consumers to know that they can get certain Black Friday doorbuster deals for sure. Walmart is right now making sure that everyone in America knows about the One Hour Guarantee deals in the Walmart Black Friday 2013 sale.

Traditionally the hottest Black Friday doorbuster deals are in extremely limited supply. Sometimes a store does only have an inventory of 5 items. Most of time there are about 10 items. To get these you need to be among the first 10 shoppers in the line in front of the Black Friday store. That is not easy and requires to queue up early.

In my opinion the one-hour guarantee is actually a very good reason to visit a Walmart store on Thanksgiving Day at 6pm. Because you will get the deal(s) you want. What is your take? Are you a fan of the one-hour guarantee or do you think it is taking the fun out of Black Friday?

Walmart offered 21 Doorbuster deals with the one-hour guarantee. How does the One-Hour Guarantee work? You need to be in the designated lines at a Walmart store between 6 and 7 p.m. or 8 and 9 p.m. local time on Thursday, Nov. 28. You either get the deal right there or when it is sold out you can purchase a guarantee card. This card guarantees you that you get the item at the Black Friday price before Christmas.

I expect the Walmart Black Friday 2014 sale to have again 1-Hour Guarantee doorbuster deals. If there will be more deals remains to be seen. I think the number is enough. The Walmart Black Friday 2014 1-Hour Guarantee doorbuster deals will possibly even more impressive.
