Samsung Announces Rose Gold and Merlot Galaxy Note 3 Smartphones

Samsung has officially announced the rose gold Galaxy Note 3 smartphone. These phones were leaked last week, but are now official. The rose gold accents are available on white or black main color smartphones. Samsung says that the rose gold matches perfectly with the rose gold Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

Samsung also officially announced the merlot Galaxy Note 3 smartphone. Merlot is a dark red that isn’t quite maroon. Other than getting new rose colored accents, the new color smartphones are the same on the inside as the original models.

The original Galaxy Note 3 came in white, black, and pink. “At Samsung Mobile, we understand that consumers view their mobile devices as an extension of their personal style, and Samsung is committed to delivering fresh ways for consumers to express themselves,” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics. “By introducing these new editions of Galaxy Note 3, we want to provide our fashion-forward consumers with more ways to express their personality and tastes through our technology.”

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
