Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition Hits Stores

The parrot AR.Drone flying toy has been around for a while. The latest edition of the AR.Drone is called AR.Drone 2.0 Elite Edition. The Elite edition of the AR.Drone has all the same specs as the original AR.Drone 2.0. The difference is that it comes in three different colors.

The main body of each version is still made from high impact styrofoam. The little plastic shrouds on each side of the main fuselage are available in one of three digital camo colors. There is snow (grey and white), Jungle (green and brown), and sand (brown and khaki).

The Elite Edition also gets a set of propellers in two different colors to match each version. Snow gets white and black, sand gets beige and black, and jungle gets khaki and black. The AR.Drone is flown using a smartphone or tablet running the Android or iOS operating systems.
