Online retailers can already break out the Champaign. According to first report from IBM, Cyber Monday sales are up 21% compared to last year at the same time.

The Cyber Monday 2013 sale was predicted to be the biggest online shopping day with a sales volume around $2.2 billion. As things stand at noon ET, Cyber Monday 2013 is also going to be biggest yet. According to IBM Benchmark, Cyber Monday sales are up 21% compared to last year at over the same period last year.

Mobile shopping traffic is up 58% and is now accounting for about a third of online shopping traffic. Smartphones are used twice as much as tablets for online shopping on Cyber Monday.

The iOS operating system is extremely dominant. iOS mobile shopping traffic is 4-times as high as Android. It seems that most Android phones are just not used for accessing the web. They are just glorified feature phones.
