Final Fantasy 8 hits Steam and has discount

It's been about a decade and a half since the 1999 release of Final Fantasy VIII for the original PlayStation. A year later it hit the digital shelves for Windows (though at the time received criticism for being subpar). Well today FF8 got an upgrade to HD on PC. It's now available at Steam for $11.99, but if you buy the Steam key through the digital retailer Green Man Gaming you can use a coupon code and drop the price to $9.60.

Final Fantasy VIII (PC Download) — $9.60 at Green Man Gaming after coupon code GMG20-CV2W4-DSYBT. Elsewhere you'll have to pay the full $11.99 MSRP.
