The director of X-Men, Bryan Singer, announced on his twitter account on Thursday that another X-Men movie is coming in 2016. His tweet confirms that “X-Men: Apocalypse” is coming in 2016.

Director Bryan Singer is currently working on a reunion-sequel titled “X-Men: Days of Future Past”. Singer has finished the shooting of this highly anticipated sequel. And this X-Men sequel is going to hit theaters on May 23, 2014. In the sequel, you can see mutants from both the original X-Men films and also form X-Men: First Class.
The cast of “X-Men: Days of Future Past” includes stars such as: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult.
The blockbuster superhero franchise, X-Men has already grossed over $2 billion globally for 20th Century Fox. Noticing the fact that the upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will be a big hit, 20th Century Fox has decided to work on another sequel ”X-Men: Apocalypse” which will reportedly hit the theaters on May 27th, 2016.
