Patinkin says he shaved as soon as he finished the last shot

It's amazing how a hair style or facial hair can really change what a person looks like. Take actor Mandy Patinkin, he is a regular on the popular Showtime series Homeland. On that show, he has rocked a big bushy beard for several seasons. I have seen a few episodes of Homeland, but I never realized who the bearded actor was.

Patinkin has now shaved that bushy beard and it dawns on me that he was in one of my all time favorite movies, The Princess Bride. Patinkin played Indigo Montoya, who was on a mission to find the six fingered man and avenge the death of his father.

The actor turned up on Live! with Kelly and Michael this week without the beard reports US Magazine. He said, "I shaved it the minute I finished the last shot! I felt like I was taking off a Mickey Mouse mask."

The actor says that the had to keep the beard for two years and "couldn’t take it off." After shaving the beard, he says he feels 20 years younger. The third season finale of Homeland airs this month.
