Mega Millions has another huge jackpotnext week. The Jackpot in the Tuesday drawing is $344 million. This will draw again many more people to try their luck. The recent Mega Millions changes keep on bringing high jackpots. The Mega Millions multi-state lottery game now offers larger starting jackpots, faster growing jackpots, a million-dollar second prize and better odds of winning any prize.
The ticket price remains $1. The Megaplier option price also remains $1. Mega Millions drawings consist of five white balls and one gold Mega Ball, for a total of six winning numbers. Under the new game, the number of white balls has increased to 75 and the number of gold balls (the Mega Ball) has decreased to 15. The result will be overall odds of just 1-in-14.71 to win any prize.
Tuesday’s estimated jackpot of $344 million is the fourth largest prize in the history of Mega Millions, and the largest since the world record $656 million won on March 30, 2012.
