The rumors are circulating already about the new features Apple is going to introduce with the new version of its iPhone, called iPhone 6
Apple Balla reports that the Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c are barely out of the factory, and the rumors are already cruising about the new features and improvements Apple will come up with for its new iPhone generation, to be released sometime by the end of 2014.
The curved screen is one of the most commonly rumored new features. The larger screen size is another feature that is very likely going to be part of the new iPhone. It will probably range between 4.7 inches and 5.7 inches, enabling Apple’s smartphone to compete with already existing Android and Windows phones with larger screens.
An iPhone with 4.7-inch screen would compete with the Nokia’s 4.5-inch Lumia 1020 and Samsung Galaxy’s 5-inch S4. An iPhone with 5.7-inch screen would enter the world of "phablets", and will be in direct competition with Samsung's Galaxy Note III.
There is a possibility that Apple will continue the two-phone release policy, as with iPhone 5s and 5c and release iPhone 6 with two different size monitors.
Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, said that Apple does not plan to trade off screen size for key iPhone features such as resolution, app quality and low power use, in order to introduce larger screen on the new models of iPhones. Fortunately, the display and processor technology is developing so fast that it will probably not be necessary for Apple to make any trade-offs and will be able to keep its high quality features in its new, larger screen iPhone.
