Twitter's recent IPO conclusion caught the attention of Glassdoor, a career site based in the U.S. Glassdoor has just announced the 2014 Glassdoor's Employee's Choice Awards, an award that seeks to honor the top 50 best places to work.

Twitter nabbed the second place, just a step behind Bain & Company, the popular management consulting firm. Interestingly, last year's number one, Facebook, landed in the fifth spot, while LinkedIn stayed close at third.
On its sixth year now, the Glassdoor's Employee's Choice Awards bases its rankings on many factors - salary, benefits, career opportunities, values, and more. Technology companies are a majority in the list. Google is behind at eight while Apple sits at number 35.
