Sharknado star Tara Reid is in the news today because of an scary incident that happened a year ago. She got hurt in a club in London by a glass in the face and eyes. The alleged attacker got though acquitted yesterday.

Actress Tara Reid had a big scare last year in a London members-only club. She got hit in the face with a glass. Tara Reid was rushed to the hospital as she feared to go blind. She has recovered though since. The woman accused of throwing the glass was now freed of the charges by a jury in London. Mayram Hassan said that the glass got hurtled at Reid when she was removed by the bouncers of the club.

Tara Reid landed a surprise hit with Sharknado and there is indeed a second one coming. Sharknado 2 is scheduled to be released in July of 2014. Not many details are known yet. The title is Sharknado 2: The Second One and the Sharknado 2 poster reveals that the sequel is set in New York. The poster also reveals the impressive social media statistics the first Sharknado movie received. There have been 600,000 tweets world-wide about Sharknado. This is the major reason that Sharknado actually made it into movie theaters.
