Game chat via your Android device

Gaming peripheral and accessory maker Razer has announced a new piece of software for Android device users. Razer Comms is now available for the Android platform allowing gamers to take their in game chats with them on the go. Razer Comms first launched as a PC application that allows gamers to chat or instant message in games.

With Comms now available on the Android platform, gamers can now keep chatting with their friends while they get a snack. The app is billed as an all in one communications solution for gamers. When in front of the computer, Comms users can replay to PC messages with the Android app and vice versa.

Razer Comms is compatible with Android tablets and smartphones. Razer plans to launch an iOS version of Comms in early 2014. The Android app and the PC client are available for download now.

“Staying connected in today’s world has become increasingly important and gamers are no exception to that,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. “Razer Comms solves that by being the world’s first VoIP solution to allow gamers to make VoIP calls or instant message with their friends on the road from in-game and vice versa.”
