Best Credit Cards for Travel in 2013

Many of the travelers of today take the tourism benefits of credit cards into account when they have to choose between them. Thus the number of points they earn via purchases on these special credit cards can add up to a no-cost trip to the Bahamas or Hawaii.

This rewards system offers a lot in return for very little. There is the issue of selecting which credit card is better among a dazzling array of lucrative choices. The ranking of best credit cards by Creditnet.com shows that what one credit card lacks in, another one has as its basic advantage.

There is Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard which is named the best credit card for 2013. It lends twice the number of miles for the same amount of purchases. If cardholders buy goods and services costing $1000 in the first three months, they may get 40,000 incremental miles. At least 10% of the miles are returned to the owners if they seek travel redemption. This is the #1 choice of the smartest globetrotters.

Then there comes a credit card known as Blue Sky from American Express. This has the same buying rate in dollars in the same period of time as the previous one. The only difference is that 7,500 points are collected in return. Travel alternatives are virtually limitless. A $100 credit amount can be collected on each of the 7,500 points for flights or hotel stays.

Finally, there is the Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card which comes courtesy of American Express too. This platform offers 30,000 bonus points at the same cost and time as the previous two credit cards. A $50 credit statement can be earned too. These are the top three travel credit cards that anyone with a little bit of wanderlust can avail.
