According to the lottery representatives, the Friday drawing of $425 Mega Millions jackpot lots ended up in no winners whatsoever. This made the final jackpot amount raised to $550 million. The next date set for the selection of the lucky individual who will bag the prize is Tuesday.

The winning combination for $425 Mega Millions jackpot was the numbers: 19, 24, 26, 27, 70 and 12. The chances of someone snatching the loot are one in 259 million. The law of probability has never been more applicable.
In fact, the likelihood of an asteroid from outer space hitting someone is a thousand times greater than winning this lottery. That may be one reason the amount in dollars of the prize is so astronomical. But there are obviously some people who will be winners or at least come close to winning.
