HTC One Max is now available in red color for the Taiwanese consumers to purchase at $805 USD. But the phablet is not yet launched worldwide.
HTC has launched its One Max phablet in a new color variant in Taiwan. HTC One Max is now available for sale in red color as well. HTC had already launched One Max phablet in Hong Kong earlier this month. Black and silver color variants of HTC One Max were available then. But a red color variant is also available now. Hence, HTC One Max is now available in three color options.
HTC One Max specs include 5.9-inch full HD LCD display of 1080p resolution, 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS inside with HTC's Sense 5.5 UI on top, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory extendable upto 64GB via microSD card. The HTC UltraPixel camera is present at back, while there is also a 2.1MP camera on front. It also includes latest HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound features that were originally launched with HTC One.
The design of HTC One Max is almost similar to that of HTC One. But a very interesting feature in HTC One Max is the presence of much awaited fingerprint scanner at the rear end. After Apple's iPhone 5S, HTC One Max is the second device launched this year that comes with a fingerprint scanner.
But there is a bad news for global users. HTC has not yet announced the worldwide launch of One Max phablet. Taiwanese online retailers are now selling HTC One Max for NT$23,900 ($805 USD).
