Your GoPro Cameras will be able to shoot 360-degree videos with the help of the Eye Mirror device. With Eye Mirror, GoPro camera will become a 360-degree camera that can shoot spherical panoramas. The Eye Mirror is an add-on accessory that when attached with standard DSLR, GoPro, video camcorder, or point-and-shoot, can record 360-degree videos. You will be able to have a moving POV image.

How it works? The Eye Mirror has a special housing for GoPro cameras to put on. And the compact GoPro cameras require an adapter as well. A firmware modification is also required for GoPro Hero Black and Black+ that will allow user to shoot 3,040 x 3,040 pixel resolution at 22 frames per second.
Although the Eye Mirror accessory can be used with different type of cameras, but it looks to be specially designed to capture actions shoots with GoPro cameras. And you can even use a special underwater housing for shooting beneath water.
You can also easily view these recorded videos on your iOS or Android devices, Mac or PC desktops without any processing. And an interesting element is the Eye Mirror support for watching videos with the Oculus Rift virtual-reality headset. But you have to wait until next year to watch your Eye Mirror video with the head-tracking technology as the Oculus Rift virtual-reality headset will come in 2014.
The Eye Mirror is a U.K. based firm that is running its project on Kickstarter to collect funds. It has already achieved its £14,000 goal. Till now, it has raised £25,780. It has 14 more days for its Kickstarter campaign that will finish on 5th January 2014. And you have to pledge £120 or $195 to get a GoPro version of the device. And you will get the device in March 2014.
