January 8th is the date set for the International CES 2014 in Las Vegas. And it is according to this schedule that T-Mobile’s Un-Carrier program labeled 4.0 will be introduced to the world at large. T-Mobile has sent invites to media for to discuss its Un-Carrier 4.0 plans on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Las Vegas CES event. “This one you aren’t going to believe,” T-Mobile says in the invitation, according to AllThingsD.
Though it are taciturn about the matter, the fact of the matter is that T-Mobile wants people who are on other carriers to switch to its platform. For the sake of this lucrative offer it is offering early curtailment of payments to its clientele. Up to $350 in credit could be given despite contractual terminations. While all this is still in the realm of pure speculation, there may be some truth amidst the lies.
This is part of T-Mobile’s strategy to revamp its Un-Carrier program. Back in March, T-Mobile did away with its smart phone subsidies. This move was made to make the rates cheaper for consumers. Moreover no-cost text messaging and 200 Megabyte of data for the sake of tablet owners were instituted as well.
T-Mobile has unrestricted roaming and its Un-Carrier 4.0 is a totally out of this world package. This project has been given the title of Houdini in honor of the master escapologist. There are some who are cynical regarding this unbelievable offer. But as the saying goes the taste of the pudding lies in the eating. You will have to experience the Un-Carrier 4.0 before you can make any value judgments.
