Dakota Fanning Quits Hollywood Scene for NYC

Dakota Fanning has had it with the silver screen. She is all set to leave Los Angeles in favor of NYC where she will chill out. Her worldly sibling, Elle Fanning will hog all the limelight amidst the A-List stars and starlets. The two sisters don’t see eye to eye and prefer to stay out of each other’s way.

They were previously working on a joint ad campaign. However, according to the latest scoop, Dakota plans to retire from acting and start a band or something in New York City. That is also the venue where all her friends and close buddies happen to be.

The Fanning sisters plan on carving out a space for themselves on an individual basis. And Dakota Fanning could live off the money she made from her childhood acting period. So she is headed for a far less chaotic place then Hollywood. Meanwhile, Elle is trying to form an identity aside from the persona imposed by her elder and wiser sister

In fact, she has a series of movie projects set for the upcoming year. Elle is the social butterfly among the two and she is enjoying every second of the wild partying and celebrity excess. Dakota on the contrary has been there and done that. So she wants some peace of mind instead.

'Night Moves' Review: Eco-Terrorists Target Dam, Viewer Apathy

Source: Big Government

Hollywood has a hard time judging eco-terrorists. Recent films like The East and The Company You Keep couldn't come out and condemn the actions of their die-hard environmentalists. At times, particularly with Robert Redford's Company, you could feel the storytellers rooting on the eco-terrorists. Night Moves takes a different approach. It's both clinical and detached, a portrait of three eco-terrorists with precious little baggage or condemnation. That takes away m ...
