Streamz Headphones to Debut at CES 2014

A new set of headphones that have some interesting tech inside will be displayed at CES 2014 kicking off in a few days. The headphones are called Streamz and they have a 1.6 GHz dual core Android processor inside. The headphones have built in Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity allowing them to connect to wireless networks to stream music.

The headphones also have integrated storage with 4GB of space for your favorite music. The storage space can be expanded using memory cards up to 26GB. The Streamz headphones have four speaker drivers inside.

Two of those drivers are vibration drivers so you can feel the bass and music you like. The other two speakers are 2-way dynamic units measuring 50mm. The headphones are collapsible and have bi-amplified power. The headphones will cost $549 when they launch.

"When it comes to entertainment there is only one thing more valuable than free, and that is simplicity," said STREAMZ CEO Douglas Kihm. "You no longer need to bother with a separate player since it's all built inside. Many people don't want the hassle of carrying, connecting, and draining the battery of their phone or music player. STREAMZ replaces multiple headphones so that you can enjoy all of your entertainment from any device with one simple-to-use pair of headphones."

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
