Brock Lesnar defended his heavyweight title twice before throwing in the towel. The fact that he may return to the UFC is fodder for the rumor mill.

About seven years ago, Brock Lesnar made his mark by defeating Min Soon Kim and going on to hold on to the heavyweight title twice in a row. Whether it was the world of pro wrestling or the MMA forums, Lesnar left behind his name as a legend. But the fact that from there onwards it was a downhill process was cause for sadness indeed.

The transient success made Lesnar a household name, yet the ephemeral period of time he remained on top was phenomenal. He lost when he pitted his powers against Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem. These two losing matches made him lose his vitality and he seemed to drop out of the game albeit temporarily.

Yet like the phoenix rising from its ashes, there’s more to Brock Lesnar than meets the eye. Although from his camp, things are quiet and secretive, there are rumors of a return. It just might be that this season, this erstwhile defeated man with a plan can show the world that he has finally made a comeback.

A few other fighters who could take him on are suffering from injuries and in semi-retirement. Therefore,  former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar has a chance and the experts say he ought to avail it. Meanwhile, mum is the word from his side. He likes to keep it mysterious. However, we hope he meets the expectations of the rabid crowd of fans.
