American Mikaela Shiffrin led the first run at the Slalom in Lienz, Austria. In the second run she got beat by record-breaking Austrian Marlies Schild.

American teenage ski athlete Mikaela Shiffrin lost against Austrian Marlies Schild. The Austrian living legend has though broken the record for most won slalom events ever. She has overtaken Swiss legend Vreni Schneider for most won slalom races. Schild has now 35 World Cup Slalom wins. American ski sensation Mikaela Shiffrin led in the first run in Lienz, Austria. Marlies Schild teleported herself from the 6th to the 1st place in the second run.

The Sochi Olympics are soon and it looks like Mikaela Shiffrin is in top shape to compete for Olympic Gold.
