Guns N’ Roses Land Police Captain in Trouble

Guns N’ Roses Land Police Captain in Trouble

It all started with a Las Vegas police captain who helped Guns N’Roses guitarist Daren Jay "DJ" Ashba and his Columbian girlfriend celebrate their romance on a flight. However, it cost him more in terms of a career than he had bargained for.

The wedding proposal DJ Ashba made to his girlfriend may have been facilitated by the police captain, but his own livelihood took a nosedive instead. He faced charges of rule-breaking for stopping the flight mid-tour. Rather than face the threat of demotion head on, the man was self-effacing enough to retire on his own terms.

The police captain’s flying job is over for good. And to think that it was all due to his lending a helping hand to DJ Ashba in his shenanigans. The captain named O’Leary oversaw the voyage. Another man named Ray Horsley piloted the helicopter that flew the rock star and his love interest over Las Vegas.

Due to the online Instagram photos of the tour posted by DJ Ashba, the news spread like wildfire. Meanwhile, Ashba was thankful to the two for the most magical moments of his life. So while DJ Ashba and his girlfriend are married now, the people who helped them in the process are left high and dry.
