UFO Sightings Reported

The people in northern California watched a special light show in the sky on New Year's Eve. This special light show is not actually a firework. These were the UFOs which are welcoming the New Year too. Many people in northern California reported that they had watched mysterious flying objects in the sky on New Year's Eve.

Steven Brown is also on of those who actually watched UFO over Sacramento. He said, "Well, we saw it right through the trees. It was bright enough to shine directly through the trees without any problem seeing it."

Another man named Hans Mauth reported UFO sightings over Auburn. "It kind of approached from over in that direction and came across kind of slow," Mauth said.

UFO sightings are not that common. But there are many people who actually saw UFOs in the skies of northern California. Kaye Pinlac is also on of those who saw it in Stockton. He also captured an image of these mysterious flying objects in his iPhone. Pinlac said, "I seen like six bright orange colored lights, Pinlac said. "And they were almost like in a diamond or triangle shape. It was weird. And so they started just separating."

But we are not sure that what people actually saw were UFOs or some fireworks on this New Year Eve. It is still a mystery.

Xenonauts review

Source: Eurogamer

There was always something a little wonky in the concept behind 1994's UFO: Enemy Unknown. The earth is under attack by extraterrestrials and so a global defence force is formed to counter it; fair enough. But when I try to imagine the conversations that might happen in dingy, smoke-filled bunkers somewhere, they always go like this:"Sir, alien forces are terrorising Oslo. The city is under attack!""Right, send in our ground force ...

The Hard Data on UFO Sightings: It's Mostly Drunk People in the West

Source: The Atlantic

Tuesday is the 67th anniversary of the rumored alien crash-landing in Roswell, New Mexico. But extraterrestrial aviators have been rather busy in the last few decades.   The National UFO Reporting Center has received about 90,000 reported sightings of UFOs in the last 40 years, according to the Economist. That's about six per day—with the majority happening on Fridays, in the West, and during, um, drinking hours.  When and Wh ...

THE phrase “Where’s my jetpack?” has become something of a collective outcry in recent years.  Since the 1950s, we’ve been indoctrinated with visions of the future full of spaceships, time travel, instant food, laser guns, and best of all, dazzling sci-fi duds. Instead, here we are in 2014 and things haven’t shaped up to that Utopian model at all.  Sure, communication technologies have exceeded our exp ...

The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
