Mega Millions Winner Claims $324 Million

He is one of two people who won the largest sum of lottery money in the annals of US history. Steve Tran is a native of California, the Sunshine State, and he realized after two weeks had passed that he had won a hefty amount in the sweepstakes. He has a choice. He can take the money in installments or in a lump-sum form.

The other lucky winner of the jackpot was a female resident of Georgia named Ira Curry. She claimed her share a day after the lottery draw. Ira preferred a lump-sum amount. Tran meanwhile realized that his life was about to change a little later than usual. He had placed the tickets he bought in a pile along with several others

Tran had purchased his winning combination at a San Jose gift shop. He was basically a delivery man. But now that he has struck gold, he has decided to wave his job goodbye. After he found out that he had won the humongous amount, Tran verified the fact before calling his boss.

He simply said that he won’t be coming to the office premises that day or any other day for that matter. Money makes the mare go and now Tran is looking forward to life as a millionaire and the vista looks good!

The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
