An analyst predicts that the new 12 inch iPad Pro might be released in Fall 2014, and compete with Intel’s laptop very strongly
In every year, the iPad lovers and analysts anticipate a new model of their desired device. And to spice up the speculation, an analyst predicts that a new model of iPad might be revealed in Fall 2014.
According to Apple Balla, Patrick Wang, an analyst from Evercore Partners, reveals the buzzing prediction of the upcoming iPad Pro, stating that the device might be equipped with a 12 inch display and the powerful A8 chip. He expects that it will come with a system similar to the pattern of 2-in-1 laptop-tablet strategy applied by Microsoft and Intel.
According to Barron's, Wang says, “Expect a 2-1 hybrid – think iPad + MBA – similar to how most iPads are used in the workplace and in the same spirit of MSFT’s Surface.”
Wang believes that the plan can seriously pose a threat to Intel’s reign in the laptop market. He states, “This would hit Intel in an area of strength – enterprise [laptops].”
Apple has been working hard for years to grab the Intel’s huge market. Therefore, there is a strong possibility of the tech giant revealing a major innovative device to attract a lot of Intel consumers, ultimately making Wang’s prediction true.
