The former contestant of “Dancing with the Stars” and a long time sports reporter, Erin Andrews, is facing the cold weather this Sunday night in Green Bay. Actually, Erin Andrews is a Fox reporter covering the Live NFC Wild Card playoff game between the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers at subzero Lambeau Field. And this game is expected to be the coldest NFL game ever.
The Green Bay is really wrapped up in ice and cold these days. According to the forecasts of the National Weather Service, the temperature will lie between 0 and 5 degrees and can drop to 25 degrees below zero overnight. The chilling winds may reach minus 50. The coldest NFL game ever was the 1967 Ice Bowl that hit a low of minus 36.
The Wisconsin health officials were actually warning people to stay inside to save themselves from the affects of the cold weather. But Erin Andrews has to go live for the expected coldest NFL game. And she has already prepared to stay warm for the Sunday’s 49ers vs. Packers game.
Erin Andrews has already shopped for battery packs and heated socks. She tweeted, "I will be covered head to toe w/ battery packs tom..heated gloves, socks, insoles."
