If you are that type of reader who likes a little form with their function, then Solar is a useful weather application which offers it in droves. And instead of just displaying the current time, forecast, and the temperature, the solar app gives its users colorful and visual cues so the user can infer a lot of detail from just a single glance. Then anyone can easily swipe in any direction for more information.

The main screen of the app shows the users the basics: like the temperature, current time, date, and the current conditions. The colors on-screen of the app gives the users a special feel for the time of that day (the sunrise, mid-day, sunset, sunny, overcast etc).

Just simply swipe down on the main screen to see the three day forecast for the user’s current location. Again, scroll ( do not swipe—just hold the finger on the screen and then scroll) up to watch the clock spin and then show you the full, and a detailed 24-hour forecast, including the animations for the rain or the snow, and the color changes for sunrise and for the sunset.

Easily swipe left to switch among the saved locations, or to add the new cities to track. Then double tap to see the weather in the entire user’s saved cities just at once.
