The much awaited Consumer Electronics Show (CES), also known as International CES is just only a few days away from now. We have been eagerly waiting for this event since last and can’t wait anymore to see what new products, gadgets and gizmos will be launched in this internationally renowned electronics and technology trade show. As usual, it will be full of excitement and surprises and the trade show will be hosting lots of events, shows, awards, conferences and many more. But the people will be mostly engaged in new products and technologies that will be launched in this event to be held January 7 to 10, 2014. The organizers have already confirmed us that almost all the major companies and industry professionals will participate in this trade and bring up their newest innovations in electronics and technology.

The organizers and exhibitors are thinking really big in 2014 and it is true for the Robotics solution manufacturers who are coming up with new additions in this event. Among those, CruizCore XG1010 from Microinfinity Co., Ltd is the most noteworthy one. It is a fully self-contained MEMS digital gyroscope for measuring heading angles. The XG1010 internally contains a R1050 device. This device provides communication interfaces that facilitate its use with PCs. The XG1010 includes a monitoring program that allows testing the different sensor settings and operational modes. The XG1010 can be used either as the R1050 evaluation kit or as a stand-alone sensor. The XG1010 has USB and RS-232 communication interfaces. The XG1010 is a compact, low-cost yet very accurate sensing solution. The XG1010 uses MEMS sensors resulting in low-cost and high reliability. The XG1010 has 50 Hz bandwidth and can measure rates up to ± 150 °/Sec. The XG1010 minimizes the sensor error with the help of an adaptive reduced Kalman filter, the expected drift error is less than 10 °/h and the scale-factor is accurate within 0.5% of the scale factor. The start-up time is less than one second, it does not require further calibration thereafter. The XG1010 includes a monitoring program that allows testing the different sensor settings and operational modes.
