No high resolution camera tips latest rumor

The iPhone rumors never stop. If you have followed the technology and smartphone world long, you know this. As soon as the rumors build to a crescendo, the new iPhone launches and the rumors immediately turn to thoughts of the next model. The iPhone 5S hasn’t been here long, but lots of rumors have already surfaced about what the iPhone 6 may be like.

Some new iPhone 6 rumors have surfaced recently. Apple is said to be staying out of the megapixel wars when it comes to smartphone cameras. The iPhone 6 will reportedly use a 8MP camera. That is in comparison to other smartphones offering 13MP and up, with Nokia even having a 41MP unit in one of its devices.

The source of the latest iPhone camera rumor claims that Apple will tout improvement for the iPhone 6 camera in areas other than resolution. The source claims that the iPhone 6 camera will have improved optical image stabilization. The decision to skip higher resolution is said to be to keep the smartphone in a more portable form factor.

A higher resolution camera would presumably increase the thickness of the iPhone. The rumors have suggested in the past that two iPhone models will surface with one being a much larger phablet. The iPhone 6 is pegged to be thinner and wider than older versions of the popular smartphone.
