The much awaited Consumer Electronics Show (CES), also known as International CES is just only a few days away from now. We have been eagerly waiting for this event since last and can’t wait anymore to see what new products, gadgets and gizmos will be launched in this internationally renowned electronics and technology trade show. As usual, it will be full of excitement and surprises and the trade show will be hosting lots of events, shows, awards, conferences and many more. But the people will be mostly engaged in new products and technologies that will be launched at this event to be held January 7 to 10, 2014. The organizers have already confirmed us that almost all the major companies and industry professionals will participate in this trade and bring up their newest innovations in electronics and technology.

The organizers and exhibitors are thinking really big in 2014 and it is true for the companies who are involved in motion tech solutions. There are a number of companies who are coming up with new additions, including sensors, chips in this event. Among those, Sentral Motion Coprocessor from PNI Sensor Corp is the most prominent one in the CES 2014. It is a sensor fusion chip that enables smart continuous calibration and magnetic anomaly rejection, allowing for true accuracy in contextual awareness and indoor navigation. Central dramatically reduces power usage by offloading sensor management and fusion work from less efficient host CPUs onto an ultra low-power IC tailor-made for motion processing. And it reduces the need for complex algorithm development and calibration. The result is the first ultra low-power integrated circuit to make 9-axis motion sensing extremely accurate in real world conditions — while dramatically reducing processing power use of the host CPU
