Brooklyn Nine-Nine Winner of Best TV Comedy at Golden Globes 2014

It had gotten some tough competition from the others in its genre. But, in the final analysis, Brooklyn Nine-Nine took up the challenge and beat the rest of the sitcoms hands down. The show is the most hilarious skit in town

The Golden Globe award it won will be a feather in the cap for all the actors who made the comedy series a possibility. The basic theme of the TV comedy is a police detective who behaves in an immature and silly manner. The foil to this buffoon is a very draconian captain. The former is played by Andy Samberg, while the latter has Andre Braugher as the over-civilized captain.

The general reaction to the show was positive. It made many laugh and forget their troubles for a while. There were several other shows that got nominated for an award. Breaking Bad was way up there on top. It depicts a chemist who starts producing crystal meth and becomes a drug baron in the process.

The star-studded event had some of the most recognizable faces present in their glowing status. In the capacity of being members of a pantheon of thespians, these performing artists lent charm and beauty to the occurrence.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Source: TV Tonight

If Scrubs were reinvented as a cop sitcom, it would be something like Brooklyn Nine-Nine: a workplace comedy with a goofy, but charming, hero and his dysfunctional colleagues. Scratch Zach Braff for Andy Samberg, who plays Detective Jake Peralta, barely keeping one eye on the job when there are deadpan wisecracks to be made. He is easily distracted by office pranks such as “fire extinguisher roller chair derby” and the minutiae of Brooklyn’s police departm ...
