24 on Fox to Return in May

The thrilling TV program, 24 is to return on Fox. The new 24: Live Another Day will feature Kiefer Sutherland as agent Jack Bauer. And it will entertain the audience with its fast-paced action sequences.

24 on Fox to Return in May

The famous series, 24 is to make a comeback on Fox. And this time the storyline is set in London. Agent Jack Bauer is seen playing a runaway fugitive who tries to stop a terrorist attack that may have devastating consequences. He is ready to save his country from its enemies.  Also a rerun of the Cosmos series is to take place. So there will be ample entertainment for everyone

Fox states, "24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY is a thrilling new tent-pole event series which will restart the clock on the groundbreaking and Emmy Award-winning drama franchise starring Kiefer Sutherland. Produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Howard Gordon’s Teakwood Lane Productions, 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY will make its historic debut in the summer of 2014 on FOX."

The new 24 series will begin showing its stuff from May 5th, 2014. It has been titled “Live Another Day” which is a quip on the “Die Another Day” slogan from a Bond movie. Other members of the cast of characters include: Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane. 

The nemesis of agent Jack Bauer is a femme fatale named Yvonne Strahovski. She will be a new addition in the series. This woman will be shown in action as she pursues agent Jack to the bitter end. The 24 series has name and fame as an interesting narrative of twists and turns that leave the audience on the edge of their seats. 

The nail biting suspense and adrenaline pumping excitement it engenders in the rapt viewership shows that it has class. And with the mass media at its peak, Marshall McLuhan’s dictum of “The medium is the message” seems more than relevant in today’s world.
