A fresh report, which is out of the China, suggests that the OEM is still very much committed to the Windows Phone as well as to the Android platform.

So Huawei has committed that although their Ascend W2 device is just a mere couple of months old, a follow-up is likely to be said to go official in a matter of a few days. The aptly named device Ascend W3, the handheld is going to run the latest version of the Microsoft’s mobile Operating System, namely Windows Phone 8 GDR3.

Before any of the readers even think about it – no, the Huawei Inc. doesn’t yet intend to go against the heavyweight beasts such as the Nokia’s Lumia 1020 and the 1520 models. Instead, their W3 is believed to have got much more modest goals, like with a smart display of around 4.5 inches, the 720p resolution tops, a stunning 8 MP rear-facing camera and also, the 4G LTE speeds are primarily supported in the device.
