The tech giant Google and the luxury automaker Audi have announced a new partnership at the Consumer Electronics Show or better, CES in the Las Vegas.

The joint venture is going to produce a new Android-based in-car luxury entertainment system, which is a great prospect for the Android users who can not get benefited from the Apple's latest proposed iOS dashboard integration with the cars like BMW, Honda, and the Mercedes-Benz series.

The latest step of Apple and the Android system integration into a car entertainment system is considered as another step toward turning the vehicles into the ultimate mobile device friendly system. When it comes to the phones and the gadgets, Apple's iOS and the Google's Android system both have got a staunch of supporters.

If the major automakers do continue to align themselves with one operating system over another, do you think consumers are going to change their phone system for the sake of their always dreamt car? Or the dream car's entertainment operating system will become a deal breaker for them? Only the time is going to tell us that. Till then, we’ll have to wait.
