Original show will be offered in all Netflix areas
Netflix has been doing very well for itself with its slate of original programming. The streaming media firm won some important awards for its original show House of Cards last year. Netflix has announced that it has a new original show coming exclusively to streaming customers in late 2014.

The show is based on the Epic Adventures of Marco Polo and will be available for subscribers in all Netflix Territories in late 2014. The show will follow the explorer as he ends up in the middle of a brutal war in 13th century China. The show will have martial arts, intrigue, politics, and lots of spectacular battles according to Netflix.
The show is from Directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki, Max Manus: Man of War), executive producer and director Dan Minahan (Game of Thrones, True Blood) and executive producer and creator John Fusco (Young Guns, Hidalgo). the series will have nine chapters and will shoot at Pinewood Studios in Malaysia.
