Premiere will happen in late June
If you were a fan of last summer's Stephen King TV series Under the Dome, you will be glad to hear that the second season air date has been announced. Season two of the show will premiere on June 30 reports LA Times.
That will give you something to look forward to during the lazy summer days when most TV shows are in reruns. There have been some complaints about the series that fans of the book it is based on have raised.
King has said that the changes made to adapt the book to TV are fine by him; King is also an executive producer of the show. King has announced that he will be writing the season premiere for the show himself. The premiere date for another CBS summer show has also been announced called Extant.
Extant stars Halle Berry as an astronaut that tries to fit back in with her family after a year in space. She discovers the time in space has made some changes to her that the network says will change the course of history. The series has a 13-episode order and premieres July 2.
