Anheuser-Busch is kicking off a major new campaign for Bud Light at the Super Bowl 2014. The Super Bowl XLVIII marks the launch of Bud Light’s new creative campaign, “The Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens.” The campaign kicks off with two corresponding “Epic Night” units— totaling 90 seconds and telling one cohesive story across two ad blocks—featuring top celebrity surprises when they are least expected. The Bud Light “Epic Night” spots were created by BBDO.

The story of the Bud Light ad is to create an over the top experience for a normal person involving 412 actors, 58 hidden cameras, 5 rock stars and 4 celebrities.

Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2, 2014. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl.
