Over a million iPhone 5S devices have reportedly been shipped to the largest mobile operator in the world, The China Mobile, signaling the strong demand for the device in the Chinese market.

The Apple device supplier, Foxconn, has reportedly shipped about over 1.4 million iPhone 5S handsets to the China Mobile, which is ahead of the famous mobile operator's launch on the Friday 17th January.

A reliable person who is familiar with the matter has told The Wall Street Journal's famous “Digits blog” that for now, the initial shipment volume does not yet represent the total sales at the China Mobile for this January, but the figure helps to gauge the early demand for the iPhones from the China Mobile, which has been reportedly taking some pre-orders for the famous mobile device since 25th December, 2013.

The tech giant, Apple Inc. had announced the long- time awaited distribution deal with the China Mobile on the last 22nd December, 2013. It is to be noted that, the China Mobile is still the world's largest mobile phone operator with about 760 million active subscribers, and it is also thought that the promising deal could generate even billions in the term of revenue for the Apple Inc.
