The owners of the Sony Xperia SP, the Xperia T, the Xperia TX and the Xperia V devices have grown their impatience waiting for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update and they have always pressured the Sony Inc. to release more information about the update. As a result, Sony Inc. has officially announced on one of their Twitter accounts that it is currently undergoing the final preparations and it will start rolling the OS update from the end of this January through the early February.
The update is going to commence at the different times for all of the regions and the carriers. The Sony Xperia Z device, the Xperia ZL, the Xperia ZR and the Tablet Z devices were already graced by the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, but the waiting of their lower standing sibling devices is now almost over too. The update will bring various changes and some of the additional features, which the users can check out in the web.

As for those awaiting users of Sony to move on to the Android 4.4 KitKat version, the web blogs have got no new information. But back in the last November, the company had said that the Xperia Z, the Xperia ZL, the Xperia Z1, the Xperia Z Ultra, and the Xperia Tablet Z devices will be in the queue to get the latest update of Android, the Android 4.4 KitKat update.
The Sony Xperia ZR and the Xperia SP devices have also been revealed to be under the consideration for an immediate update to the KitKat, but we do not yet know if they have made that cut till now.
